I had a shoot last week with Roseanne – we did some editorial shots as well as some general portraiture.
The editorial shots are part of the ‘Fatale’ series that I have been working on in recent weeks.
The series depicts, strong, powerful and sexy women in a “noir” like environment…
We spent a hour or so working on some regular portrait work – the one below is one of my favourites thus far…
I had a shoot a couple of weeks ago with Jo Fry – a model from Herefordshire. I’ve not edited all of the shots just yet, but here’s a couple I have edited…
This is a shot taken a few weeks ago with model Nicki Adam – it was primarily taken for forthcoming exhibitions as well as my ‘Conceptual’ gallery on my website…
I’m currently working on several images and projects that feature strong, sexy women with noir like lighting.
Hopefully I’ll be able to show you more soon.
The above photograph was taken last month and it’s from a shoot for ‘Carnival’ with model Hollie Chekov.
We shot it in a large manor house just outside Kidderminster and I’ll be uploading the photos to my site very soon.
Speaking of which my site has undergone a dramatic change (I thought it was about time) and hopefully now the galleries and information are easier to view on all devices including iPhones and iPads.
Please take a look and let me know what you think…
‘Legs’ is a series of images I completed a few weeks ago with the model Nicki Adam.

I’ve been interested in doing this project for a few years, ever since I shot ‘The Absent Murder Of The Mind’
I’ve said in previous posts that I like exploring the idea of anonymous portraits, where the face is hidden or not included. I spoke with Nicki about this, whom I’ve worked with for several years, and we decided to create this series. All of the photographs were shot in my house with very small lighting rigs.

I shot this shop window on holiday using the Fuji Instax 200 I’d picked up off eBay. It’s the first Fuji Instax I’ve ever used – I really like it, I prefer the size of these photos to the new Polaroid 300.
I quite often find shop windows, photographically interesting. Full of items that would never look right anywhere else except behind a big, glass window…
‘The Absent Murder Of The Mind’ 2005 – Nikon D100
This photograph, which was taken in my living room at the time, was inspired by a photograph called ‘TV Murder’ by my favorite photographer Helmut Newton.
