The Regal Cinema in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire was opened in 1937 and as of now, it is one of only a handful, of truly independent cinemas left in the UK.
The Regal is undergoing a restoration project worth in the region of £680,000 and will be closed for approximately 6 months.
Tenbury Wells Council have given me exclusive access to the cinema during the restoration so I am able to provide a photographic document of the work.
The photo above was taken last week, shortly before the work is scheduled to begin. I will add photographs over the course of the next few months to my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CarlBeebeePhotography – please visit that page to keep up to date with the photographs.
